Victor Blanco
Instructor
Victor Blanco is originally from Venezuela and brings nearly 40 years of diving experience. He began diving at age 10 and earned a B.S. in Marine Biology from Universidad de Oriente, Margarita Island, in 1999. Since 2016, he has worked with Florida Sea Grant at the University of Florida Extension in Taylor County, where he leads outreach programs on scalloping fisheries, seagrass conservation, and artificial reef monitoring and construction in the Gulf of America.
Victor is a certified Scientific Diver with the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS) and a dive instructor with Scuba Educators International (SEI), International Divers Educators Association (IDEA), Handicapped Scuba Association (HSA), and Divers Alert Network (DAN). He also holds advanced certifications in Cave 1 Diving and Extended Range Diving. His passion for marine conservation and education continues to inspire both new and experienced divers.
