Anna Marie Friars

Instructor

SEI Instructor Anna Marie Friars was a Matthew Beard scholarship recipient with Life Worth Leading. A chorus teacher and musician by trade, she is a travel enthusiast and SCUBAddict in her spare time. Anna Marie developed the SEI Lionfish Hunter specialty course.

She enjoys teaching divers about this invasive species and equipping them with the skills they need to help control its population in our waters. Anna Marie enjoys working with students at every level and has yet to find a type of diving she doesn't love. When she isn't working or diving, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jerrod, their 3 dogs, and flock of chickens. Anna Marie looks forward to diving with you all soon!
