Divemaster in Training

Andrea’s life is a testament to lifelong learning through curiosity and a desire to make a difference. Retiring as a division fire chief, she continues to explore life while guided by one of Leonardo da Vinci’s enduring principles—childlike wonder. Andrea has embraced a life of reinvention and exploration.

Her post-retirement journey has taken her down many paths from working as a DJ to consulting in pre- and post-disaster management and mitigation. She is a photographer with an FAA 107 drone pilot certification, working toward using aerial technology for construction, data mapping, and deliverable verification. Andrea is currently working toward completing her divemaster certification, and she hopes to apply her experiences towards the preservation of history and protection of the natural world.
